PROSPECTOR DOWN ON DECEMBER 16, 2008 FOR SOFTWARE UPGRADE
On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, the Prospector system will not be operational due to a system upgrade. Prospector is hosted by the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries and on that day the consortium will be installing an updated release of the Prospector software The outage will start around 8am in the morning and Prospector, will be out most of the day.
The Web domain name for Prospector will remain unchanged (http://prospector.coalliance.org) although the underlying numeric IP address will change. This change will not affect the general public but is requiring some changes to other computer systems that connect to Prospector.
