Person/Site suggesting |
|
1. |
Ability
to transfer a request from one item at a single site to an equivalent item at
the same site via cancel-with-re-request.
Issue developed with Denver Public and branch libraries. If DPL cancels, request will not “bounce”
to a different branch for possible fulfillment if cancelled by original
branch. |

2. |
Count
per-item usage as an item is checked out on Prospector for collection
development purposes. (i.e. similar
to in-house count but for Prospector) |

3. |
Print
labels at point-of-pickup as requested item is checked in. Label could have patron name and any other
pertinent information (holdshelf removal date based on loan rule parameter,
etc.). Useful for holdshelf
placement. |

4. |
Create
a new status for a billed book so that the home library would know when a
borrowing library has billed a book loaned. Currently the long overdue report
is the only way to “guess” whether a book is billed at another site or
not. [July 18 meeting: perhaps it can
work like claims return and sever the virtual links with notes in patron/item
record] |

5. |
Paging
slip which indicates ITYPE for different loan periods (e.g. 7 day media, 7
day PASCAL, 21 day book, etc.) |
