The Committee met from 1:00 to 3:30 at DPL. Present: Veronika Albl, Joan Beam, Pam Blome, Bill Garrison, Gwen Gregory, Florence Jones, Lois Jones, Janet Lee, George Machovec, Carol Perkins, Helen Reed, Carol White, Cindy Wilson.
The first 1 1/4 hours were a GoldRush staff mode demonstration by George. The SQL based product enables the user to find electronic publications and databases embedded in about 400 aggregations held by member libraries. It is located at goldrush@coalliance.org. An open URL resolver will be available by the end of 2002. In staff mode, authorized local staff can keep subscription information, optionally in great detail, alter bibliographer information, and update holdings. The Alliance is setting holdings from vendor lists. For holdings with matching ISSNs in local records the Alliance can map data from local sites and Prospector to provide full MaRC, including subjects.
The final spreadsheet of maximum and minimum costs has been prepared. All Alliance libraries except Wyoming, UCHSC, DU Law, and Mines will participate, DPL on its unique profile. The contract will be written along the lines of the memo of understanding
Endeavor load into Prospector.
No progress to report. III is writing code for the Endeavor 2001 version. Mines will be up on this before Wyoming, so when testing continues, it will be done with Mines data.
InnReach update
George will load 2002 phase 1 the week of May 20th. We did not go to 2001A. With this update the 260|c will not show a “c” before a date or a “-“ after an opening date.

**Members should view the website and come with suggestions to help new staff or libraries.
Ann Rakes did run a cleanup program before she left, but some inexplicable duplication remains. The committee will draft specs to give to III for the purpose of identifying and removing duplicate records that should have merged according to the present matching algorithm. The feasibility and costs of such a project must be determined.
DU wants to know the use which member libraries make of order records on Prospector and whether their presence impacts purchase decisions. Lois will handle this by email.
