Member Council

Operating within the general policies established by the Board of Directors, the Alliance Member Council is the working committee of the Alliance. Comprised of the Dean or Director of each Alliance member library, including each campus of the University of Colorado, the ten Council members meet bi-monthly to conduct the "library" activities of the Alliance. From time to time, the Council will establish Task Forces or Committees to examine topics of mutual interest that might fulfill the Alliance objectives of:

  • Sharing Resources
  • Identifying and resolving issues of information creation, collection, access and distribution
  • Reducing member operating costs
  • Providing additional services
