Alliance Digital Repository (ADR)

About Alliance Digital Repository Services

Alliance Digital Repository (ADR) Service is a preservation-oriented, consortial digital repository service which aims to facilitate collective knowledge-building of digital curation strategies among Alliance members and the broader community. The ADR Basic software platform, developed and maintained by ADR Services, provides a base of digital content discovery, access, storage, and long-term management functionality and leverages a combination of Open Source Software packages supported, in part, by a third-party vendor. ADR Basic is a centrally hosted service leveraging servers, data stores, and infrastructure managed by the Alliance. It is also being positioned to interface with Cloud storage providers.

A number of additional, value-added services, including content preparation and migration support, education and training; and consulting, are made available to members of the Alliance as well as to non-Alliance customers through ADR Services.
